Congratz!!! As decided by the CEC at Trivandrum on 04/06/2014, Lunch Hour Demonstration at all SSA Head Quarters on 07/06/2014 as the part of the On-going agitation for a healthy and fruitful management in Kerala Circle is successfully conducted. Charged up, unwavering and fearless members of SNEA (India) outplayed awful retort from the Administration with a Mammoth Dharna on 04/06/2014. SNEA (India) Congratulate all comrades for making an ever time history written in golden letters by the gargantuan convocation which passed on a strong message to the Administration about the audacity, commitment and determination of the Comrades of Kerala.
Brave members of SNEA (India) once again proved that, we would not fear any type of malevolent move by the administration and reiterated that ‘WE WILL NOT LET OUR HEAD DOWN IN FRONT OF ANY AUTOCRATIC RULER’.
Dear Comrades, now the Kerala administration is very restless after witnessing our gigantic movements!!! These all are beyond their anticipation. Unlike during March 2014, when we fought to settle our HR issues against CMD BSNL in front Circle Office when the CGMT was very much available at the Office with a steady and peaceful approach, this time he played his all spiteful tricks when the turbulent move of the executives gushed towards him. He tried to destroy the morale of the members of the largest executive Association of BSNL in spite of his knowledge that the Members of SNEA (India) are valiant enough to meet any adverse circumstances.
Destroying Temporary Pandal and other arrangements made for Dharna.
As usual in all Trade union programs, a pandal was arranged in front of CGMT. Contrary to the past incidents , 20 days of silence after the issuance of the notice for Trade Union Actions, at the 11th hour before the announced dharna, we were asked to dismantle the Pandal. The Pandal was built on the place earmarked for the Trade Union actions as directed by Corporate Office and marked by the CGMT during September 2013. We out rightly rejected the Order to dismantle the Pandal at the very beginning itself since the order was not to keep any decorum of the Office or to implement any office orders but only to satisfy the adolescent way of thinking of the CGMT. CGMT misguided the Kerala police force and succeeded to dismantle the Pandal. It was clear attack on the democratic frame of the country and against the trade union rights guaranteed under the constitution, it also display the sadistic attitude of the CGMT to throw out his officers to the on slaught of massive monsoon shower. We decided to brave the situation whether it is sunny or rainy. We knew that the move was only to provoke us and make a violent scene in front of Circle Office and to get a compassion from Corporate Office. He also planned to block our peaceful protest which was planned on 04th of June 2014 by the help of the police.
Dear comrades, we could have rebuilt the Pandal on the same day but we didn’t do as we had to show our will power to the CGMT by assembling for the Dharna in any horrific circumstances. “We are fighting for BSNL, We are fighting for our daily Bread and Butter" were the slogans echoed in our heart continuously. The Administration, the representative of the CGMT, continued their tainted drama by disallowing chairs and Public Addressing system for the Dharna. We fought with the Administration in every inch, every minutes for our legitimate rights.
When our Members were under one roof, when our members were organized for one Demand, when our members were shouting for natural justice, the administration could not hold on their instructions and we conducted the dharna in a befitting manner suiting to a courageous association.

Tremendous Response!!! Whatever we achieved , whatever we won, the energy passed by the members with their roaring support outplayed all. No member who attended the dharna will forget these exhilarating moments of the Dharna. Such a wonderful crowd!!! The administration, with a hiding CGMT really struggled to manage to answer the questions raised by us. More than 500 members!!! Roaring Slogans!!! Power packed house!!! Our energy level was shooting up and up when the Administration arranged the fully armed police. It was clear that administration was misleading the Police force but hats off to all the members who remained unruffled despite the fact that all are emotionally charged up. The executives surged into the Circle Office compound from Kasaragode to Thiruvananthapuram. From the middle of the Battle yard, the feeling of Unity filled into every one.
Circle President Com. K.Sudheer presided the formalities and Com. P. Padmanabha Rao Jt. Secretary South inaugurated the Dharna. Com. R. Rajan CHQ Treasurer has delivered the special address. Com. George Varghese, Circle Secretary and Com. G. Premkumar, Circle Treasurer had addressed the dharna. The Dharna was blessed with the inspirational speeches of Veteran Leaders Com. N.A Abraham and Com. P. Janardanan. Circle Office bearers and SSA Office bearers from various parts of the circle addressed the Dharna.

Com K.Mohanan, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU and Com. R. Muralidharan Nair, All India AGS, BSNLEU visited the dharna and extended the full support of BSNLEU for the agitation. Through a message Com B.Suseelan, Circle Secretary, SEWA BSNL extended their full support for the agitation .
Dear Comrades, this is only a beginning, We should keep this unity and this spirit always. Once again it is proved that the unity is the greatest strength. Only because of that we could overcome the hurdles created by the Administration. Keep the spirit up... We are still on Non Co-operation. Intensify our agitation, put maximum effort to open up the eyes of BSNL Management to make positive changes to make our Circle back into right track. We don’t want sleepless and illogical smart working practices, where as we want sensible, viable and intelligent ideas to drive the circle to its new glory and motivate the employees by bringing back their self confidence.
Struggle!!! Struggle Hard!!! Dont Cool down till our goal meets!!!
Whenever you want to achieve something, keep your eyes open, concentrate and make sure you know what exactly you want. No one can hit their target with their eyes closed. So Comrades, Lets open our eyes more wide, let us make all our fellow comrades be the part of this movement, be focused,….. final victory will be ours… Struggle… Struggle hard… there is no other shortcut for success than open the eyes of the BSNL Management with tremendous struggles.
